Navman N20 and F20 are launched

New to the UK market for Christmas 2006 come the Navman N20 and Navman F20.

Although the Navman F20 is an entry-level system it uses the SmartST software coupled with the SiRFstar III receiver technology and Tele Atlas 2006 mapping data which together produce a great system. All the usual features are present including points of interest, 2D and 3D mapping, automatic re-routing as well as "fuel" and "park" buttons to locate the nearest car-parking and petrol stations when out on the road.

The Navman N20 goes one step further and encompasses the NavPix technology which allows users to store locations in the form of pictures - additional geo-tagged pictures can be downloaded from the Navman site - interested in visiting the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace or McDonalds in Edinburgh (!) - someone, somewhere may have taken a picture of it and submitted it to the Navman website thus allowing other users to download the picture and then navigate to the location at the push of a button!

As well as this and other standard feature, the N20 also comes with a safety camera database pre-installed - allowing for safer driving when out and about.

All in, the two new Navman systems represent great value for money - check them out on the links below -
